 Hi my name is Master Vicente Albuerne
I am the President of  T1DF  (TAEKWONDO1DREAMFOUNDATION)                                                                                                 

I have been training over 27 years this olympic sport , but I never thought my life
would be drastically  changed when my little son Joseph was born with
DOWN SYNDROME.
When he was 5 years old he started taking Taekwondo lesson with me. He learn  to use weapons and do forms (Taeguks)to changes belt levels.
He also participated in competitions and won Medals and Trophies. That  really make me proud  of him.
In 2012  I started a program for kids like my son;  25 student were enrolled in that first class.  Now I am going on  my second year 2013, the number of students has doubled .

My dream is to give aqual  opportunities of being part of this Olympic Sports to all children with special needs.                                                                                      

OUR GOAL:

open as many doors as possible for all this children and help them to explore and
reach their fullest potential in our sport.

OUR VISION:
The ultimate goal is offer to all children with special needs a safe place where they can train and  learn a martial art such as Taekwondo, which prepare them
for life:

Forging discipline and Strengthen the body and mind.
